These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of harborview-nutrition.carcin.app (the “Site”) and your booking of services with Harborview Nutrition, operated by Maya Ellison, MS, RDN, LD. By using the Site or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.
Not medical advice
Content on this Site — including articles, recommendations, and general nutrition information — is for educational purposes only and is not medical advice, individualized nutrition therapy, or a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare provider. Always consult your physician or other qualified provider before making changes related to a medical condition, medication, or diagnosis.
Services & scope of practice
Harborview Nutrition is a private-pay, virtual nutrition counseling practice. Nutrition services are provided based on the laws and regulations of the state where the client is physically located at the time of the appointment, and virtual nutrition counseling is available only where permitted by applicable state law. Harborview Nutrition does not guarantee that services can be provided in every state, and reserves the right to decline or discontinue services where they cannot legally or appropriately be provided.
Booking & payment
Appointments are booked and paid for through our third-party scheduling platform, the Harborview client portal. Harborview Nutrition is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance. Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms are set out at the time of booking and in your client agreement.
Steady Course Plan terms
The Harborview Steady Course Plan is designed as a three-month, seven-appointment experience. All included sessions must be used within six months of purchase unless Harborview Nutrition’s availability requires an extension under the program terms provided at booking.
Use of the Site
- You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to misuse the contact form, booking links, or any other feature.
- All content on the Site — including text, images, and the Harborview Nutrition name and logo — belongs to Harborview Nutrition or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.
- The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and Harborview Nutrition is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of it.

This Site includes affiliate links, including to a storefront. Harborview Nutrition may earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through these links, at no additional cost to you. Third-party platforms
Booking, payment, and email delivery are handled by third-party platforms (including the client portal and our email provider). Your use of those platforms is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent version once this page is approved and published. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
